Server Monitor (v4.0) is an essential SOFT1 ERP tool, designed to ensure the optimal performance of the server in a SOFT1 ERP installation and to monitor active user connections. If any instability is detected, Server Monitor restarts SOFT1 ERP, without being noticed by the user.

Server Monitor operates in two (2) ways: as SOFT1 Server Monitor#Standalone and as Windows Service. See below how to use Server Monitor, as well as what files are required for the installation process.

- To make sure that Server Monitor is properly working, the SrvMonitor.exe, SOFT1 Server Monitor#SrvMonitor.cfg and SOFT1 Server Monitor#Params.cfg files are required. These files are located in the SOFT1 Common area.
- Previous SrvmonitorService.exe use is no longer supported. All functionalities have now been integrated into SrvMonitor.exe.
- Uninstall the existing service and install again the new Server Monitor version 4.0.0, to use SrvmonitorService.exe as Windows service in existing installations.
