The **Update markup **job (*Jobs menu → Commercial management → Sales → Prices - Pricing policies*) sets the item’s Markup percentage based on the pricing category if it has been previously set in the Item profile* (tab: Commercial policies*).  
It does not affect prices, but based on the markup percentages set for each item pricing category, the Markup fields of each Item’s Wholesale & Retail price, are updated *(tab: Trade → Prices and Discounts*). You can update the Wholesale/Retail prices using the Markup percentage through the Update sales prices<span style="color: #0747a6"> </span>job.
