Warning messages in SOFT1 ERP serve as pop-up reminders for important information or notifications related to Items, Trading Parties, or Contacts ( CRM Actions & Sales Opportunities ). For instance, a warning message might remind you of a scheduled phone call to contact the customer for the last details of an agreement before sending a Sales/Purchase Doc. You can set  Warning Messages  in the Stock Items, Services, and Trading Parties modules. These messages will be displayed when specific Items, Services and Tr. parties are called in a Doc. or action. Read below how to set and use  Warning Messages  in SOFT1 ERP.   Trading Parties Warning messages Set Warning Messages for Trading Parties, Branches and Contacts. Suppose you own a retail store specializing in outdoor activity equipment. Whenever you want to contact a particular trading party, e.g. supplier Sales Forward SA - 101, for same-day pickup, it's essential to notify them by 12:00 pm. Additionally, for convenience, you prefer to be serviced by the nearest branch, 100 - Central - Dublin and you need to remember its opening hours (06:30 - 14:30). To set these reminders go to Commercial Management ( Trading Parties→ Suppliers ) and follow the steps: Set the desired  Trading Party Warning message  ( General data → Grouping/Classification ), such as 'For same-day delivery: Please notify us by 12.00 pm'. Set the desired  Branch Warning message  ( Contact Info → Associated Companies, Branches ) by double-clicking on the Branch and type the Warning message, for instance,  'Open 06:30 - 14:30.' Set the desired  Contact Warning message  ( Contact Info →  People ). Select the Contact and click the hyperlink (Code/Surname/Name) that will lead you to their Profile. There you can type a Warning message, such as  'Contact only during working hours'. Click 'OK' and save the entry.  When you select   a specific supplier (101) or branch (100) in the purchase document, both Warning messages will appear as pop-up reminders. When you select a specific contact (101: Jones Charlotte) in Sales opportunities or any CRM action (Calls, Meetings etc.), the Warning message you have set in the Contact profile will appear as a pop-up window reminder. Warning messages for Trading Parties and Branches can be activated in both Commercial and Financial Management modules. Trading Parties Warning Message Branches & Contacts Warning Message   Stock Items & Services Warning messages Suppose you own a retail store with outdoor activity equipment. You can set up warning messages for specific scenarios in Stock and Services Management. For example:  For Alternative Items, go to Stock Management →  General data and type a warning message to remind you to check for alternative items, if the stock is unavailable. e.g.  'Item '106.111: Hiking boots'  For Service Scheduling: Similarly, you can enter a warning message to prompt you to schedule a training session.'SRV-066 - 'Training on the use of ski equipment'  In ‘General data’ tab ( Commercial Management →  Stock Management or/and Services ), type the  Stock Items/ Services  Warning message.  By selecting   the specific item or/and Service in the document, the Warning message you have set will appear as a pop-up reminder.   Activating Warning messages for Items & Services In the ‘Warning messages’ parameter select one of the following options (Stock Items, Services, Services-Stock Items) to activate the Stock Items’ & Services’ Warning messages  in Purchases/Sales documents .   (Parameters menu→ Commercial Management → Purchases/Sales→ Parameters→ tab: Other). Set ‘Yes’, in the ‘Warning message’ parameter, to activate the Items’ Warning messages  in Stock Management Documents   (Parameters menu → Commercial Management → Stock Management→ Parameters→ tab: Properties→ Document Line Controls). Select one of the following (Stock Items, Services, Services-Stock Items) in the ‘Warning message’ parameter  (Parameters menu → Services Management → Services→ Parameters→ Folders)  to activate the Stock Items & Services Warning messages  in Service Folders . As regards the Service Folders, the Warning message will appear in actions carried out in Spare Parts or/and Services tabs  (Jobs menu → Services Management → Services→ Service Folders).
