Outstanding stock quantities in SOFT1 ERP Outstanding stock quantities are created in Parameters menu → Commercial management → Stock Μanagement and they are set in Document Types → tab: Pending, conversion → Outstanding . Template Outstanding Stock Quantities (e. g. Reserved from Sales orders) are included in SOFT1 ERP's default Setup to facilitate monitoring right from the start of using SOFT1 ERP. However, you can also design your own outstanding, tailored to your business needs, if, for example, you want to monitor outstanding orders separately and with a specific name, like "ESHOP Reserved Orders." When designing a new outstanding category, select the appropriate Category type: Expected / Reserved : to monitor e.g. outstanding stock quantities from purchases/sales orders. Indifferent : to monitor outstanding stock quantities at an informational level ( e.g. 'To be Invoiced’ quantities, created from a Delivery Note ). Creating Outstanding Stock Quantities Outstanding stock quantities result from item transactions on document lines (purchases, sales, stock management, etc.) These pending quantities represent items that have not yet been “served”. When creating documents in SOFT1 ERP (either directly or through procedures like Conversion or Processing ), the items' quantity listed on the Doc. lines is initially marked/ labelled as "Not processed." If the Doc. Type is set to create Outstanding, then an outstanding stock quantity is automatically generated for this "Not processed" quantity of the item. Read more about Covering or Removing & Restoring Outstanding features, which are available at various transaction stages within the task flow.
