Set default selector  is a SOFT1 ERP feature that enables you to set the preferred Browser/List, which will be used to quickly search for the information you are interested in. For example, consider the information you would like directly available when you: type or click the arrow in the ‘Customer’ field, either in a browser's or report's filters. search for Customer, Stock Items, Salesperson, Carrier, etc. within a document’s screen. Work as follows to use/activate a Browser/List’s ‘Set default selector’: Find or design the browser that will be used for searching, e.g., in the Customers module. Click on the specific Browser in the Sidebar and then right-click on  ‘Set default selector’.   Admin users can set the users or User Groups to which the selected option will be applied. For every point in SOFT1 ERP that includes the 'Customer' field, the search option is activated according to the Browser/List you have set.
