**Employees Parameters** *(Parameters menu → CRM → Employees - Contacts → Employees Parameters*) apply to all Employees, based on their role/ job position/ organizational unit. Note that some** **of them require additional setup in SOFT1 ERP to automate HR processes.
Set the Employee Parameters in the **General **area to activate the necessary processes so as to be used by SOFT1 ERP and [myWorkplace](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189269072/Soft1+myWorkplace).

For example,

- User defined data** **of the employee, i.e., the Working hours, the employer’s Occupational area and the checks upon requesting leaves,
- additional fields for [Work Monitor](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189268891/Work+Monitor), and handling procedures in [myWorkplace ](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189269072/Soft1+myWorkplace)(*e.g. displaying warning messages when requesting leaves*).

See below how to set the Employees Parameters and what is activated respectively in SOFT1 ERP and [myWorkplace](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189269072/Soft1+myWorkplace).
