Restricted (specific companies only) You can define the  Company/ies  &  Branch/es  that the user will be working on, as well as the  Cash Register . On the User's profile card, in tab [Access to Companies], fill in the  Company  &  Branch  fields with the data that will be suggested in the SOFT1 ERP login screen, as well as the  Cash Register  that will be suggested in documents. On the " Access to: " field, you can select to either give the user " Free"  access to every company existing in the database, or " Restricted " access to specific companies. In that case, fill in the grid with the specific companies/branches that the user will have access to, along with the User Group. In case Free access is selected and yet there are companies on the grid, Free access will prevail. Access to Series in other branches  At User's tab and more specifically, [ Access to Series in other branches ] tab, you can define the  document Series  that will be available for the user to use, as well as the branch and the module. These Series concern branches that the user has no access to. Example:  The user will be able to post Sales Orders for the Newcastle branch, even though he does not have access to the specific branch. Default Series Finally, at [ Default Series ], you can define per module the Series that will be suggested each time a user posts a new document. A useful parameter for users that post repeatedly documents with specific Series per module Example:  Order Series (ORD) will be automatically suggested in new Sales documents. Document Series Access Rights You can define access rights to Document Series or, in other words, select the users or/and Groups of users that will be able to view and use certain Series. The Series access rights can be defined/ set a follows: Select the job and the Series, a user or a Group of users can use, through the Parameters menu > Users & Rights >  Document Series Access Rights , Select the job and the Series, a user or a Group of users can use, through the Parameters menu > Users & Rights >  Document Series Access Rights . Configure Series parameters in " Rights " tab. The document Series right is a Select/View right only. If the user has the right to post Sales documents, then they can use the Sales Series to which they have been given a Select/View right. In case you add default  Branch  and  W/H  in the parameters of a Series, it will be available for use only to users with access rights to that Branch. The right to edit or/and delete a Series is defined at Series object level.  All Series, regardless of the login Branch, are available to the Administrator.
