Use the **Open Browser** tool to massively modify the values in specific fields or tables of a section, for example, the Commercial Category, the Business Unit at Stock Items, the Payment Method at Customers etc.

The following example describes the way, to easily perform these modifications regarding the Commercial Category at specific Stock Items.


### **1. Design Open Browser**

At Stock Items, click **Tools **tab from SOFT1 **Sidebar:**

- Select <New Entry>. At the Configuration tab, select “Open Browser” in the Data source field.
- At <Map Fields> tab, select the field you wish to update and the respective value. The example below displays the update of the Commercial Category (542) for specific Stock items with the new value.
- Save the new design.

### **2. Run Open Browser**

- Locate the items of the specific commercial category that need to be updated. The following example displays the way certain Stock items are being updated from Commercial Category (542) to Commercial Category (552).
- From Sidebar tools, call the “Open Browser” design and click <Run>.

Once the job is completed, the “Commercial Category” field of the items displayed in the List, will be updated with the new value.
