In order to use **SOFT1 B. I. Data Lake **, consider the following:

1. Activate the **SOFT1 B. I. Data Lake ** service (Basic/Advanced/Analytics/Extra Uploads) to your SOFT1  installation, (see more in 'Activate SOFT1  B. I.  Data Lake service' section).
2. In case of an on-premise installation, activate the **Cloud Agent **as well** **. See more [<u>here</u>](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189268677/How+to+Install+Soft1).
3. Create a [website domain](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/EME/187072516/Soft1+Open+Enterprise+Engine), through which you will access SOFT1 Web & Mobile services.
4. Set, at SOFT1, the necessary parameters which will allow you to access the service (see more in the 'Configuration' section).
5. Get the [Microsoft Power BI Desktop](https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-gb/desktop/) or/and [Microsoft Power BI](https://app.powerbi.com/) account.
