| **Redirection to Active jobs** | Activate to select jobs through hyperlinks. These jobs will be displayed in a new tab; otherwise, if the parameter is not selected, they will be displayed in a pop-up window. | |  |
| **Repeat values using TAB key** | Automation is used when saving successively similar entries (i.e. Stock Items), where the tab key is used for entering in each field the exact same indications used in the previous entry posted. | | |
| **One connection for browse-trns** | SOFT1 ERP opens by default a second connection with the database because some customers might have certain issues with some SQL licenses. This parameter opens only one connection. It is suggested not to have this option checked. | | |

| **Confirm Exit** | If you choose to close the application, an exit confirmation message is displayed. | | |
| **Default text in fields** | Set whether clicking on the data of a field using the mouse (i.e. Customer Address) shall lead to the selection of the data, or not. This setting is intended to accelerate modifications of field indications. | | |

| **Master-Detail tree view** | Activate to display the results in tree view analysis. Just click on the line arrow. This parameter is used for Browsers/ Lists (i.e. Sales Documents configured to display Item Lines Analysis). Otherwise, the analysis of each line will be displayed at the end of the list. | |  |
| **Confirm cancellation in Master object** | Set whether a confirmation message will be displayed when you cancel a Master object (i.e. Companies). | | |
| **Confirm deletion in Grids** | Set whether a confirmation message will be displayed when you delete a grid line (i.e. Document lines). | | |
| **Place cursor in 1****st**** column (Grids)** | Allows you to set whether the cursor will be automatically placed in 1st column of grids. It is usually selected in barcode cases. | | |
| **Click to Sort (Data grid)** | Allows sorting to any grid by clicking on the header of the preferred column. If it is not selected, you can sort the entries by right-clicking on the preferred column and selecting Sort. | | |
| **Apply Sorting based on Default selectors design** | Activates automatic sorting on the selector. It refers to the sorting defined when designing the browser. | | |
| **Number of lines displayed (Selectors)** | Enables automatic sorting on the selector. Applies to the sorting that you have defined when designing the index. | |  |
| **Single click to open a menu option** | Allows you to set whether there shall be activation of the folder menu options with a single click instead of a double-click. | | |
| **Search while typing** | Defines whether the application shall start searching upon typing indications in search fields. To activate the parameter you should re-login after selecting it. | |  |
| **Automatic opening of selectors while typing** | Allows you to automatically open the window of entries selection when typing a description in search fields (i.e. Description, Name, etc.). The number of characters typed before the selection window opens is defined in the following parameter: | | |

| **Save personal menu** **in DB** | Define whether the personal users' menu will be saved in the database, or not. For example, type the name of a branch in Sales Documents list and search in active browser. | **Interface** | Select between Version 2008 and Series 5, to activate the new user interface. | | |

| **Multiple expand of main menu** | Set whether the module you are already working in (e.g. Commercial Management) will be closed or not when you open a different one from the Menu (e.g. Service Management). | | |
| **Maintain open the Sidebar** | Select if you want the sidebar to remain open after login. | | |
| **Hide Toolbar titles** | Select this parameter if the icons in the list headers are to have (not to have) an explanatory title. | | |

| **Do not wrap alphanumeric fields** | Excludes alphanumeric fields from the wrapping mechanism (which is applied when the indication of a field exceeds the available length). i.e. comments, remarks, Document comments etc. | | |

| **Wrap Form pages** | Select if you wish the tabs to be adjusted according to changes of window dimension. | |  |
