The SOFT1 ERP Business Units module is an open model for mapping the organizational and/or financial structures of a business. Companies that manage individual business units can utilize the SOFT1 **Business Units** module, in order to evaluate each unit separately, set specific goals and strategies, and get financial results (positive or/and negative) that each one brings to the company as a whole. This module is available throughout SOFT1 ERP, participating in all the main Entities, as well as in a wide range of Browsers, Jobs, Reports, etc.
Business Units can be distinguished based on, e.g., the company's activity fields, the types of items/services the company provides, etc.
Examples of Business Units:
- IT companies: Software, Hardware, Services, etc.
- Dairy companies: Milk, Cheese, Yogurt, Ice cream, etc.
- Clothing industry: Men's, Women's, Kids', etc
- Groups of Companies: Telecommunications, Technology Products Distribution, Retail sales, etc.
