Apply smart search in SOFT1 Lists using **Active Browser** functionality.
You can easily find the required information by typing a letter/character, since the results are constantly updated within the list. Use symbols, either **combined** or **individually**, to advance search by adding, excluding or/and replacing characters with the use of: plus (**+**), minus (**-**), underscore (**_**), and percentage (**%**).

**Use:**** **The blank space character (“ ”) between words makes rules individuals.
**Type:**** **for example, “**milk** **cream**” **banana** (the word combination should be inside inverted commas).
**Result:**** **One of the following rules “milk cream” and/or “banana” will be displayed on screen. |  |

**Use: **The **“+”** symbol before a rule shows all matching entries.
**Type: **for example, ml **+fo **(Do not add space between the “+” symbol and the new rule).
**Result: **Words including “ml” and “fo” will be displayed on screen. |  |

**Use:** The **“-”** symbol before a rule excludes all matching entries.
**Type**: for example, ml +fo **-li** (Do not add space between “-” symbol and the new rule).
**Result: **Words including “ml” and “fo” will be displayed on screen and respectively the words including “li”, e.g. light will be excluded. |  |

**Use:** The **“_”** symbol replaces characters.
**Type**: for example, f_ _s (instead of fresh).
**Result: **Words including “f” and “s” characters will be displayed at specific position e.g. fresh or flash. |  |

**Type**: for example, f_ _s **+pa%k** (instead pack.)
**Result: **Words including “f” and “s” characters will be displayed at specific position both including “pa“ or/and “k“ e.g. package |  |
