For self-deliveries of goods or services, the company is required to issue a “Self-Delivery Note”.
Such deliveries are subject to VAT. On these occasions, the cost price of the goods or similar goods at the time of self-delivery is also considered as the value for tax purposes.
Examples:
- Companies that provide goods they produce, purchase or import, for free.
- Companies that provide goods they produce, purchase or import, for the needs of the personnel or the entrepreneur.
## Configuration
To configure self-delivery documents, please follow the steps below:
1. Make sure you are using **SOFT1 ERP 5. 00. 517. 11017 ** or later **version.**
2. Configure the following document **“Type”** settings:
- the **Behavior** of **Self-Delivery**,
- the **Customer Transaction**, by selecting to cause no action/transaction at customer’s financial data
- the **Inventory Transaction**, by selecting which data will be affected and in what way, after the document is saved **(Self-Delivery qty, Self-Delivery value)**
- the **Accounting Link**, to keep Accounting updated and in accordance with Commercial Management entries.
## Operation
Save the Self-Delivery documents and find the relevant Accounting Entries available in Related Jobs.
## Outcome (Browser- Reports)
**Self-Delivery Quantity** & **Value** are available on:
- **Item details** (browser design).
- **Stock statistics **(browser design)
- **Stock ledger** (report design) as well as the “Self-delivery cost" (quantity * cost price)
- Item’s** Financial data**
