This module will be used to simplify and improve SOFT1 ERP's usability for Groups of Companies recorded in the same Database, in order to handle common master files and processes across system functionality. The following master files can be handled with this module Groups of Companies as common master files in the companies of each Group: **Customers, Suppliers, Debtors, Creditors, Stock Items, Services, Credit/Debit Transactions, Contacts **and **Projects.**

- Groups of Companies are available from SOFT1 ERP 4.00.515 version, onwards.
- In order to start using Groups of Companies the Parent Company to which all other companies will be connected, has to be defined. After that in order to register the companies that will be connected to the Parent Company in the database, you have to use the job which is found in: Parameters → Companies → Create Group of Companies.
- This feature shall be used for New SOFT1 Installations only – does not apply to already existing SOFT1 ERP Installations.
- In the same Database there may be companies which are set up as Groups with their connected companies, while at the same time there can be autonomous standalone companies.
