Special job that resets the financial data of the entities, used for already posted documents in order to reupdate them.

Reupdate jobs are found in menu: Jobs> Periodic jobs >Reupdates

  

Job reupdate is run under special conditions ("problem restoration"), by specialized users or professionals and normally relates in modifications of the transactions design following document posting.

Job Re-update is critical as it resets and re-updates financial data using rules that are possibly different than those applicable during previous update of the module files.

 

> Info: When running the job, all other stations in the system must not be in the application or must – positively - not run posting or file updating jobs.

> Info: Before running the job, you must verify that there are no lockups in the period for which the process is run.

> Info: In the trading partners module, if you reupdate to a prior year, you must then run the job for the last year created too.

> Info: To display reupdates module in your menu, the user logged on must have administrator rights (sounlock=1).
