**Printout abilities:**

- Ability to select the currency in which the trading partner balance shall be displayed (trading partner –local).

- Ability to age the balances at dates later than the report date. Necessary pre-conditions:

o Aging according to payment terms

o Balance aging zones with positive values

- Ability to exclude trading parties according to the sign of the balance (debit–credit).

- Open-item application on payment terms using FIFO.

**Operation of filters in printout dialog:**

- Customers with balance: used as an additional filter for excluding customers with credit or debit balance. It has no effect to the method of balance aging.

- Settlement dates: the selection of this filter results to the balances aging on the basis of the settlement dates of the documents (if any).

- Apply open-item: select "Yes" to exclude the open items of trading partners from their balance aging.

- Cheque dates: select "Yes" if you want aging to be performed according to the expiration dates of the cheques and not according to the cash documents dates. The selection of this filter shall affect the result only in case there is a credit balance originating from a cheque.

- Currency: select the currency for the display of the balance value. It is obvious that only if "Local" is selected the printout totals shall have any meaning.

**Method of conversion of values to various currencies**

Case 1:

Company currency (local)=  Euro(€)

Trading party currency = English Pound (£)

Transaction currency (document)= Dollar ($)

Conversion to the various currencies is always performed the company currency (local). For the conversion to local currency, thee is usage of the transaction exchange rate (document), while for the conversion to the trading party currency, there is usage of the transaction trading partner exchange rate.

That is,

Transaction currency------(TR ex. rate)------>Local currency--------(TRP ex. rate)--------->Trading partner currency

**Aging zones:**

**A. Aging zones with "Days" analysis type**

With regard to the dates aging zones using the maximum analysis step (days), the following must be taken into account:

- Contrary to earlier versions of the applications, in zones having only negative values (days before till current day), it is not necessary to add value "0" (zero) on the last line of the zone. For example, if you wish to create a balance aging zone containing earlier days up to the current day, at a 30-day step, the last value in the zone must be -30.

- There is no need for an upper or lower limit, i.e. -99999, +99999

- Value "0 (zero)" must be used necessarily in case the zone includes negative and positive values (before and after report date)

**B. Aging zones with analysis type "Weeks - Months, etc"**

These zones that contain only negative values, must include a lower limit "0" (zero), indicating current week, month, etc.

Respectively, the zones with analysis type "Acctg periods", "weeks" are designed.
