#### ➡️ Create Accounting entries - manually> Macro (anchor)
**Accounting entries **are available through *Jobs menu → Financials → Accounting*.
When creating a New entry (manually), a message ‘*Recurrent entries Yes? / No?’ *is displayed about [Recurrent entries](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/12060446/General+ledger+entries+posting) (Yes/No).
Further details are provided below related to areas/fields included in an Accounting entry’s screen and heir functionality in everyday tasks and workflows in SOFT1 ERP.
**General data **helps user to enter data quickly, by collecting basic information from the rest of the entry’s tabs. Fill in the data you need to create Accounting entries. Work as follows:

##### → SOFT1 ERP Messages
- *No Accounting Entries have been linked to the document.* → It is displayed upon selecting the **Accounting entries **job,** **when the *On line update *flag is activated after saving the Document. Work as follows:
- exit and enter again the Document,
- type a Comment to activate the **Save **button and operate the online link to create the Accounting entry.
- *No Accounting Entry has been linked to the document. Create?** → *It is displayed upon saving a Commercial Management Document, when the **On line update **flag is not activated i Document Type. Then, click **Yes **in the message to create directly the Accounting entry.
- *Entries generated automatically from online update cannot be deleted.* → When an Accounting entry is created with the On line update flag activated, it cannot be deleted or modified directly. It can be modified if the original entry is changed, i.e. the Document that created it *(e.g. type another value in the Document)*.
