The application supports the complete import of chart of accounts in excel format. In the example below, there shall be importation of a chart of accounts with the format: ΝΝ.ΝΝ.ΝΝ.ΝΝΝ

In the xls file the following fields must be completed in order for the chart of accounts import to be successful:

It is noted that: Field Account type is matched to the following values:

Field Behavior is matched to the following values:

Field Level is analogous to the form of the General chart of accounts.

After creation and saving the chart of accounts in the xls file, import must be designed using the General Ledger - Accounts menu.

In Import design the following must be completed:

On page <Configuration>:

- Data source: Select the data source, which in this case is ms- excel.
- Define the first useful line in the excel file, that is the first line containing data and not column headers, etc.
- Option Lines per entry refers to the method of creation of the file in excel.
- File name:  Select the xls file created with the chart of accounts.

On page <Document matching> create the links of the excel fields with the respective application fields. Select "Fields" to display the window with the fields of the respective module from which the combination with xls columns is to be selected.

Option <Save as> saves import in the application.  In order to execute the job, select again from import Tools: General Ledger account management -Run.

On the screen displayed select "Import new" and "Run"

For the test import of the new Chart of accounts select "All entries: No" and the number of entries that you wish to import.
