## Cost Accounting entries

In order to post accounting entries, you must select module Cost Accounting / Accounting entries.

To start posting an entry, select "New" and then the following message is displayed:

Then, select the desired series. Selecting the series, completes the following fields:

- Series
- Type
- Number
- Document
- Date -> the current date is the default
- Currency
- Entry ex. rate-> proposes the unit
- Journal-> the official journal for printing the entry
- No. of days: -> Default is zero, but it will be completed during the entry finalization job
- Comment -> the default comment is the one set in the entry type design. Otherwise it is left blank.
- Entry -> it is completed depending on the type of entry defined in the document type.
- Update: -> Default value is "No". Running entry finalization job changes it to "Yes."

 

Then, on the lines, select the desired accounts and complete their value in debit, or credit.

## Analysis entries

This option displays only the entries that include accounts, which are further analyzed in cost accounting. From this point of the application, you have the ability to view which entries are already analyzed and which are not in the cost accounting module. 

Moreover, you can execute batch analysis of the entries not analyzed. Specifically, the general ledger entries are displayed in browser format. Select the entries you want to analyze and right click to select option "Lines analysis" and run the job.
