- **Code format:** In Accounting Parameters you can set the code format for the accounts used by the company. Specifically:
  - Design the format and the maximum analysis of the accounts to be included in the chart of accounts.
  - Use symbol N (uppercase-Latin) to denote the use of a numerical symbol.
  - As a level divider use symbol "." (dot).
  - An important element is the analysis of the levels, because it determines the method through which the application will automatically perceive the level of the account entered, based on its code.

In the following example, the maximum code analysis is at four-degree account level. All levels include two characters. Note that measurements you enter in the level analysis include the divider ".".

- **Level analysis:** Defines the method through which the application will automatically perceive the level of the account you enter, based on its code. It is completed according to the format of the codes. For example, for the format NN.NN.NN.NN the level analysis completed is 2,5,8,11.

**► Info:** If level analysis is not completed correctly, the user may create an account with a random level, leading to Trial balance disagreement.

- **Offsetting:** In this field you can specify the default offsetting account in the entries analysis of the general ledger, using account models. If you want a different offsetting for each account, this field shall remain blank and the offsetting shall be completed in the general ledger account, in the respective field.

- **Unbalanced entries:** This parameter determines the behavior of the application in case the user tries to post an unbalanced entry. The Default value of the field is prohibition. If you set "no check" the system can post entries with different debits and credits, which is not recommended. If you set value "warning", a warning message will be displayed when posting an unbalanced entry.
- **Updated transactions: **This parameter allows the direct posting of updated (finalized) entries.  It is recommended to set this parameter to "No".
- **Automatic entry analysis: **Parameter, which regulates whether posting of accounting entries with accounts subject to allocation shall lead to the automatic creation of Cost accounting update entries.
- **Recurrent entry: **Specify whether during document posting message "Recurrent similar entries" that accelerates posting, is to be displayed.
- **Modify/delete updated entries:**Specify whether it is allowed to modify/ delete entries for which there has been execution of the job update temporary entries, that is they have received a journal number. It is recommended to set this parameter to "No".
- **Posting zero data lines: **Specify whether is is allowed to post lines (Accounting entries) without a value.
- **Apply entry posting limit following update of unadjusted entries: **Specify whether dates lockup (blocking) shall be activated automatically when running job update unadjusted entries.
- **Document code uniqueness: **Define a warning or prohibitive check concerning the uniqueness of the document code.
- Default data: Select a grouping zone to set as default the zone defined in various reports/printouts, i.e. Balance aging
