## Production Orders

The production orders are simply a planning element of the production process. For this reason, the types and series of the production orders include only basic configuration data - without quantitative or or value update of other modules.

Each order includes many lines of products. In each line the following are completed:

- The item to be produced (product)
- The BOM based on which it will be produced
- The quantity scheduled to be produced

**Method for using production orders **

In production orders browser, right-click to select "To production documents" to create the respective production documents with the total quantity entered in the order, or with a modification thereof to another quantity and with a document stage labeled as Processed or Outstanding.

Between the production documents and the production orders there is full back order update concerning the processed or outstanding quantities of the orders.

Production orders can also be produced from the "conversion" of sales orders to production orders (right click to select the appropriate option in the sales browser).

## Time Sheets

The time sheets provide the ability to monitor the production process in conjunction with the employees involved in it and operate only with production orders.  The time sheet document does not create transactions because it is an information element.

In the time sheets grid select the employee, the production order in which he was involved, the product, the production phase (information element in which phase processes are monitored too), the process (initial, in between, or final).

If you select final process in the line of an employee, then during time sheet posting, a production document is created with product quantity equal to the quantity of the time sheet.  Between the production documents and the time sheets there is full back order update concerning the processed or outstanding quantities of the time sheets.

Note: To automatically create a production document for the lines with final processing, you must set the line of the production document in the respective parameter in the Production parameters.
