Through Item > Related Jobs > Financial Data

The financial data is a screen page that displays data that change on line through daily business activity.  Financial data are always updated by transactions.  They are displayed cumulatively, analyzed per period, as well as in comparison with past years. The quantitative inventory data are considered to be financial data.

## Brief financial overview

The <Brief financial overview> displays summary data that refer to the specific item entry and originate from its transactions. Specifically:

- Op. balance (Quantities & Values): These are updated automatically based on the quantities and values entered for the specific item, selecting Inventory - Jobs - Op. balance. The Op. balance unit price of the item is used as the initial cost price of the item till the execution of the cost prices Calculation job.
- Year (Inventory [In] - Inventory [Out] Quantities and Values): These are updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect Inventory [In] - Inventory [Out] Quantities & Values respectively.
- Total (Inventory [In] - Inventory [Out] Quantities and Values): Calculated based on the sum per column of the above.
- Invoiced (Inventory [In] - Inventory [Out] Quantities and Values): These are updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect Invoiced Inventory [In] - Inventory [Out] Quantities & Values respectively.
- Outstanding: Calculated based on the formula [Op. balance quantity + year quantity - invoiced quantity]
- Balance: Calculated based on the formula [Op. balance quantity + Inv. [In] quantity - Inventory [Out] quantity]

 

**Quantitative & Value analysis**

- Purchases Quantities & Values: Updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect purchases quantities & values respectively (see transactions design).
- Production Quantities & Values: Updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect production quantities & values respectively (see transactions design).
- Other Inventory [In] Quantities & Values: Calculated through the formula [Inventory [In] Quantity (or Value) - Quantity (or Value) of purchases - Quantity (or Value) of production]. This field shall be updated by inventory transactions designed to affect inventory [in] quantities (and /or values), but which do not affect quantities (and/or values) of Purchases and/or Production.
- Sales Quantities & Values: Updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect sales quantities & values respectively (see transactions design).
- Consumptions Quantities & Values: Updated automatically based on the posted documents that create inventory transactions which are designed to affect consumption quantities & values respectively (see transactions design).
- Other Inventory [Out] Quantities & Values: Calculated by the formula [Inv. [Out] quantity (or value) - quantity (or value) of sales - quantity (or value) of consumption]. This field shall be updated by inventory transactions designed to affect inventory [Out] quantities (and / or values), but which do not affect quantities (and / or values) of Sales and / or consumption.

 

## Quantity data

<Quantity data> display the pending quantities of the item (Expected, reserved) the actual and fictitious balance.

- Balance: Op. balance Quantity + Inventory [In] Quantities - Inventory [Out] Quantities
- Nominal: Balance + Expected - Reserved
- Expected: Updated based on the transactions that create an outstanding item of Expected type
- Reserved: Updated based on the transactions that create an outstanding item of Reserved type

The Outstanding items (Analysis) show the quantities of each type of pending. Zoom at the line (right click on the left of the line), shown by documents from which the pendind arise.

## Period data

<Period data> displays in a grid format data distributed per period. Period allocation is based on the date of the transactions. Additionally there is also display of Op. balance data - that is, the data related to the beginning of the fiscal year. 

 

## **Values/ Indexes**

Display cost data as well as index data. Concerning the calculation of cost prices see the relevant chapter here

By selecting "Last" you can see the last cost values ​​for the item (as a quick calculation when choosing this job.

- Depreciation rate: Inventory [Out] value for the Year/ (Opening Value + Inventory [In] value for the Year) *100
- Markup rate (%): (Inv. [Out] value of the Year - Cost of goods sold of the Year) / Cost of goods sold of the year *100
- Gross profit rate: (Inv. [Out] value of the Year - Cost of goods sold of the Year) / Inv. [Out] value of the year *100
- Inventory turnover rate: Balance cost * number of days / Cost of goods sold (in days, from the beginning of the year till this day - not including this day-)

 

## Aggregate data

<Aggregate data> displays the data of the aggregates that may be used in the installation.

 

## Comparison data

<Comparison data> displays the data of the brief financial overview compared to previous financial years.
