1. Click on Items Area to** Add items** to Doc lines, and/or by scanning codes via barcode scanner.

💡If you scan a barcode that does not exist in SOFTONE ERP, a window will appear to add a new item, with the Barcode tab automatically filled in.   
💡When selecting an item without a Price or Recommended Quantity, a pop-up window appears prompting you to complete them immediately.

2. Click on  each line, to:

- set a new Retail Price (or click **Update price **to update the retail Price in SOFTONE),
- select a Salesperson or and W/h, and
- set discounts.

💡To further edit item details (General data / **Color- size**/ **Barcode**, etc.) select **Edit item**. This requires that the function of the same name has been added to the Retail display by the [S1 Retail Designer](https://wiki.soft1.eu/space/SS5EN/189268827/Soft1+Retail+Pro+-+S1+Retail+Designer) (POS Display POS → Operations Grid).
