🌱 There are** two scenarios **when transferring a company from one database to another:

1. When the new database does not include a company and you want to import only one company from another database:
  - Export the company data from the first database (which includes multiple companies).
  - Then, in the new database, create the tables by selecting the xdt file from the first database. The new database should be created using SQL Management Studio and should not include any tables.

2. When working on two databases, each including a company with transactions, use the merging scenarios: Since the company setup is different from the other (even if they have different code), databases tables from xdt shall not be inserted. Database issues may occur.
  - Create manually a new company in the new database (Create or Copy Company if you want to transfer the parameters, too).
  - Then, transfer all data (master files and transactions) using the xxf file format via the data migration scenarios from the old database. The data migration scenarios are available in the* Tools menu → SDK → Data migration tools.*
