### Company data

In order for the service to operate, parameter <myCustomer> must be updated (with value [Yes]) found in **Company parameters** at tab <General data> - <Contact>. Alternatively, you can activate myCustomer service from S1 Portal.

The email to be displayed in customer update, as the transmission address, shall be the one completed in company data –tab  <General data> - "Email" field.

### Documents Series - Customers

Further configuration should be done in Series which will be used for document entries and the customers for whom you wish to be informed. The configuration of the Series and customer data can be done manually or automatically.

**a)  Manual configuration**

1. To activate the service, for the Series you want, at the document Series configuration> General data> panel "Printout" activate "myCustomer" parameter.
2. To activate the service for customers who wish:
  - in customer data - tab "General Data", panel "Sorting" activate "myCustomer" parameter.
  - The email to which customer information is to be sent is the "Email" found in tab "General Data"  > Accounting > Accounting Dept e-Mail

**b) Automatic configuration update**

If the parameter is not (manually) enabled in Series and customers, it is possible to be enabled automatically during the printout of the document, if the specific parameter is selected in company parameters.

When the central mechanism is enabled in company, then upon selection of a document for printout (through the selection of the printout form), a message is displayed asking whether an email is always to be sent automatically for the specific document Series.

If you select:

- **Yes:** Flag" myCustomer" in Series configuration is updated with [Yes] value. This means that the specific series shall appear on the list of series for which an email is send automatically through myCustomer service. No message shall be displayed, but the update shall be transmitted automatically (as long as the customer has also updated the same parameter in his card).
- **No:** Flag"myCustomer" in Series configuration is updated with value [No], case upon which the message will not be displayed again during printout of documents of the specific Series.
- **Cancel**: the message shall be displayed in each printout of a document of the specific Series, until you select "Yes/No".

Following the message on Series update a relevant message to inform the customer is displayed.
