**SOFT1 Open enterprise engine** is included in all products of the SOFT1 Open Enterprise series and allows secure access to the **Web & Mobile services** available in your SOFT1 installation/SN. Accessing Web & Mobile services requires a website domain (e.g. [mycompanyname.oncloud.gr](http://mycompanyname.oncloud.gr/)), which is automatically created by activating the SOFT1 Open enterprise engine.

Before activating the SOFT1 Open enterprise engine, please note that:

- The activation of the Open Enterprise Engine refers only to one website domain for one database per SOFT1 installation/SN. To serve more than one database on the same Serial Number and the same domain, the SOFT1 Open Enterprise Feeder (On-Premise DBs) service is available (from 600.622.11536 version), which allows serving multiple databases.
- only users with **Administrator** rights for both Windows and SOFT1 can proceed to the activation process
- the configuration below mainly refers to **on-premise** installations, as in the **cloud,** the process is automatically performed, except for the creation/modification of the website domain and the creation of the SOFT1 Web Account.
